Meeting and Event Sales Manager - Contractor (Remote)

We don’t use job titles, but are happy to give you one! As a small business, Event Emissary is looking for individuals to join our team as an Entrepreneurial Visionary/Lead Generation Specialist/Director of Outside Sales. These positions are contractor / 1099 positions with a competitive commission structure, based on individual sales performance.

Qualified Candidates will have:

• a passion for the hospitality industry

• creative, imaginative ideas

• tremendous interpersonal skills (Verbal/Written/Listening/Presentation)

• strong organizational and time management skills

• skills to be calm and graceful under pressure

• the ability to relate to a diverse clientele

• strong networking and outside sales skills

• at least 3 years of general hospitality experience

• strong computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• strong knowledge of social media

This is a commission-based, remote position (part or full-time) with possible in-person client and vendor meetings. The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
